As we head back to school, I am so excited to begin another year of helping our students find and use their voices! As a speech therapist, one of my biggest goals is to help every child feel confident expressing themselves, sharing their ideas, communicating their wants and needs, and connecting with their peers. Every child’s voice may look different, and every form of communication is a voice worth listening to! Throughout the school year, we will work together to build communication skills while creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and trying again. I look forward to celebrating each student’s progress, encouraging their confidence, and helping them discover that they have something important to say.
